Find A Flooring Installer Near You

Tips for looking for a flooring installer

A few things to keep in mind before you choose a flooring installer.

1. 1Verify the installer is licensed, bonded, and carries current liability insurance for your protection.
2. 2Request local references and photos of recently completed flooring projects similar to your chosen material.
3. 3Get at least three detailed written estimates that break down labor, materials, and old floor removal.
4. 4Ask if they provide a workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer’s product warranty.
5. 5Confirm who is responsible for moving heavy furniture and disposing of old flooring debris.
6. 6Ensure the subfloor is inspected and leveled before the new flooring installation begins.
